~ i am a ghost of who i once was ~
Lenneth is a freelance singer who’s blasphemous lyrics loses her many jobs. A lost soul, she believes that there is no God, and no longer feels any meaning to her repetitive life. Addicted to the narcotic, “Garnet”, and losing touch with her childhood lover, Lucian, her heart and mind are quickly falling into ruin.

Then she hears of a night club called “Goddess Garden”, and something about the name draws her to the place. The club, run by a shady, but sensuous entrepreneur named Mystina, slowly becomes her only escape from her life. But can she escape the growing emotion in her heart? What is the painful feeling welling within?

~ Liner Notes From Strawberry Bunny ~
I started work on the manga in December 2006 after I beat Valkyrie Profile 2. The script’s first version was finished around February 2007, however it’s already July and I’m constantly rewriting and revising. I have lots of comprehensive plans for this manga and I can safely say that it’s going to be my first complete work, heh. ^_^ ;;
The manga is very much Lenneth x Lezard pairing, since the games don’t give these two nearly enough love. (In fact poor Lezard gets quite the opposite… so it’s time he gets a happy ending.) Inspiration for the manga comes greatly from a lot of Sneaker Pimps music which I was obsessed with back in November ‘06 – March ‘07. Now I’m actually listening to something other than my “Splinter” cd on repeat, heh.
It was released May 23rd, 2007 in the LezardxLenneth livejournal community. I’m now giving the manga it’s own blog where I can keep collected works, thoughts, and fanwork, which I cherish and love deeply!! The manga is still in development, and has no set release dates. It is released by chapter (Chapter 1, at 36 pages being so far, the shortest scripted chapter). Each chapter package should have about 40-60 pages. I aim to release at least one chapter a month, but I don’t stress on release dates anymore and have opted to release them when I release them to ensure that further chapters don’t come out as rushed as Chapter 1 did.
Well, enough of my rambling. That’s for the journal portion. Enjoy Rebirth/Ruin!
